Languages: Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic, Chinese-Mandarin, Persian-Farsi, Persian-Dari, Pashto, Tagalog, and Urdu.

The MASY Group, a global intelligence and risk management firm, is currently seeking language professionals to support multiple U.S. Government projects both domestically and overseas. The candidate will support several federal agencies in the capacity of written, oral, electronic source translation and interpretation from the target language into English and vice versa. Services may also include but are not limited to: formatting, proofreading, text adaptation, editing, data entry and word processing. Interpretation is also required and consists of oral communication to and from English in person, by telephone, or other forms of electronic media. Candidates are required to pass a verbal, written and translation exam as administered by the government. The ideal candidate would be a native speaker with awareness in cultural, political and sensitive social norms with the ability to understand and communicate effectively in local dialects.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to temporarily live and work overseas.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Current Secret or Top Secret U.S. Government issued security clearance
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and the target language
  • Ability to converse in formal and informal situations.
  • Ability to interpret in a variety of forums including meetings, military/defense matters, technical verbiage, geopolitical discussions, etc.
