The MASY Group is actively seeking experienced, Media Exploitation (MEDEX) Technicians proficient in Document Exploitation (DOMEX) and Media Exploitation (MEDEX). The primary function of the position is to conduct forensic digital exploitation of various types of electronic media, and to document any findings.
The qualified candidate will demonstrate:
- U.S. citizenship and a current Secret or TS/SCI security clearance;
- Proven experience conducting forensic/MEDEX activities;
- Strong understanding of proper data collection techniques and documentation;
- Technical expertise working with desktops, laptops, servers, and various types of external storage devices.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates with one or more of the following certifications:
- ACE, CCE, CEECS, CFCE, CISSP, EnCE, A+, Net+, Security+;
- Proficiency in EnCase v5/v6, FTK
- 1-2 years of experience conducting Media Exploitation or computer forensics;
- Previous work in intelligence or law enforcement
- Understanding of various filing systems to include FAT16, FAT32, NTFS, HFS+ and UFS;
- Linux and Unix experience;
- BA/BS degree.
Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Working closely with local intelligence activities, stateside and abroad, to examine and correlate Captured Enemy Document (CED) related information in support of current operations;
- Under general supervision, design and conduct tests of designs and architectures;
- Requires basic familiarity with information network elements such as routers and firewalls;
- Subject to needs of the customer, position requires deployment to hazardous locations in support of military operations.
